The Tenfold Forty is an organization of 40 women who are dedicated to living a balanced lifestyle. The Tenfold Forty was created on the principle that a balanced lifestyle is one that brings together the mind, body and community. Our journey towards creating balance centers on fellowship, education, health, voluntarism, and self-development.
Founded in 2009, this intimate group of educated women understands the value of not only giving back to the community, but giving back to themselves. In addition to volunteering in the community, the group participates in educational presentations that create an outlet for personal and professional self-improvement.
An overarching goal for the organization is to raise awareness and funds for women’s health issues. Between 2009 and 2012 we dedicated our philanthropic efforts toward the advancement of cervical cancer research by supporting clinical research at Johns Hopkins University. Most recently, we dedicated our efforts to House of Ruth, an organization that provides housing and services to meet the needs of women who are homeless and abused in order to help them achieve safe and stable lives.
We can and will make a difference in our lives and the lives of many other women. We know the good we do will come back to all of us tenfold!
