The Tenfold Forty is a nonprofit organization of 40 women founded in 2009 on the principle of living a balanced lifestyle through networking, personal development, and service to the local community. Our members are a diverse group of women in varied professions around the Washington D.C. area including lawyers, doctors, marketing and communication experts, and real estate brokers and agents all focused on a common goal of personal growth while giving back to those in need through community service.
This group of educated women understands the value of not only giving back to the community, but continuing to strive for personal development. In addition to volunteering in the community, the group participates in educational presentations for further professional and personal growth.
An overarching goal for the organization is to raise awareness and funds for women’s health issues. Between 2009 and 2012 we dedicated our philanthropic efforts toward the advancement of cervical cancer research by supporting clinical research at Johns Hopkins University. Most recently, we dedicated our efforts to House of Ruth, an organization that provides housing and services to meet the needs of women who are homeless and abused in order to help them achieve safe and stable lives.
We dedicated to making a difference in each others lives as well as the lives of women in our community. We are 40 women, giving back tenfold!
