The Tenfold Forty focused its efforts to House of Ruth, an organization that provides housing and services to meet the full array of needs of women and children who are homeless and abused in order to help them achieve safe and stable lives. Through 14 programs in the District of Columbia, House of Ruth assists more than 1,000 women and children annually. House of Ruth depends upon private donation for nearly half of its annual funding, with the rest coming from local and federal government grants and contracts.
2009 – 2012
The Tenfold Forty dedicated its efforts to raise awareness and funds to support cervical cancer research. Donations and other monies raised went directly to support clinical research studies at Johns Hopkins University Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center, working toward the treatment of HPV-caused cervical cancer.
